5 Cs
Our curriculum framework is structured and designed in accordance with ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) as well as YCT (Youth Chinese Test). Our language goals are designed to meet the 5 Cs (the five goals for language learning as identified by the National Standard for Language Learning and 21st Century Skills for World Languages )
Anywhere, anytime
Our personal Chinese classes are broken down into 25 minute classes online from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a stable internet connection and a computer or iPad! From there our professional teachers will work with your child in a relaxed one on one environment.
Level format
Each level of the course is broken down into various units and learning objectives. For a detailed breakdown of each level as we release it please see the following pages.
Level 1Novice Low
Identify and master some high frequency words and phrases, develop the continuous Chinese learning skills.
Level 2Novice Mid
Understand and use simple Chinese words and sentences for basic daily communication.
Level 3-4Novice High
Communicate on very familiar topics using a variety of words and phrases.
Level 5-7Intermediate Low—Mid
Be able to handle with a large number of communicative tasks, demonstrate the ability to narrate and describe things in detail accurately
